Batool Alatrash, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine specialist and primary care physician at UF Health Jacksonville. She is welcoming patients at UF Health Family Medicine – Amelia Island.
Born and raised in Jordan, Dr. Alatrash brings a global perspective to the practice of medicine. Graduating from the esteemed University of Jordan-Medical School where she had obtained a full scholarship, Dr. Alatrash embarked on a journey to broaden her medical horizons.
Determined to refine her craft, Dr. Alatrash pursued internal medicine residency training in the U.S. She honed her skills at MedStar Health-Georgetown Internal Medicine Residency Program in Baltimore, where she immersed herself in the complexities of internal medicine.
Driven by a growing passion for preventive medicine and primary care, Dr. Alatrash transitioned seamlessly into a role as junior faculty/chief resident within the same program. Here, she not only provided exceptional patient care but also became a beacon of knowledge and mentorship for aspiring medical professionals.
Fueled by her dedication to patient well-being and a desire to shape the future of health care, Dr. Alatrash embarked on a new chapter in her career. She joined as a clinical assistant professor at UF Health Jacksonville, where she continues to champion the principles of preventive medicine and primary care.
With a blend of clinical expertise, academic rigor, and genuine compassion for her patients, Dr. Alatrash strives to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those she serves.
