About Sofia Muenyi

Sofia Muenyi, M.D., was born in Northridge, California, and attended California State University of Northridge for undergraduate studies. While completing her degree, she conducted research in microbiology, which contributed to her desire to become a doctor. She received her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. After completing her medical education, she moved back home to Northridge for her residency in family medicine at the same hospital where she was born.

Dr. Muenyi has a passion for taking care of the whole family, preventive medicine and women’s health. In her spare time, she loves to exercise, travel and spend time with her family. In addition to English, she is also fluent in Spanish.
