About Eric B Stewart

Eric Blaine Stewart, M.D., is a University of Florida assistant professor of community health and family medicine and a board-certified family medicine physician at UF Health Jacksonville. He received his bachelor’s degree from Jackson State University and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1986, completing his medical residency training at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville in 1988. His areas of expertise include population health management, chronic disease management and National Committee for Quality Assurance measures for diabetes and hypertension. Dr. Stewart is a patient-focused leader, capable of directing and leading projects, and focused on delivering exceptional quality care.

During his medical career, he has served in multiple leadership positions at UF Health. In 2007, he received recognition from the Florida Center for Medicare and Medicaid. Dr. Stewart considers quality care as the focal point of his legacy. He is committed to providing excellent quality care to the community, while serving the underserved with compassion and dignity.
